After updating security. Logic is saying my sample rate is 88131...etc. I checked and it is set to 44.1!??! When I open a file, the song plays superfast. What can I do? Dual 2.0 power mac Mac OS X (10.4.11)...
Hello, I feel dumb asking this question but sooner or later I need to thoroughly understand how Signal Express handles sample rates. All of our other DAQ software, when it comes to sample rates, outputs a "samples per second". Since most of our testing is slow-speed load/displacement data a sample rate of 10 samples per second is sufficient. That's it, if we want 10s/s we input "...

Playback preview from within Waveburner is too fast. The transport is counting seconds too quickly, and audio is pitch shifted up. It seems as though playback is at the wrong sample rate, since the burned disc is correct and playing the same audio files in other applications works with no problem. The files in question are 44.1 bounces of 48 KHz WAVs. They are already downsampled...

I have some files I am working with. Details and what happened: Had some music files where I was doing some trimming/splitting. Files worked fine in itunes. Open the files in Quicktime Pro 7 to trim them. Exported to aif. Opened the files with itunes. They open and play just fine. In Itunes I click"create AAC version" to convert them. I receive the message "An error occurred...

I recorded my church group live at the wrong sample rate. It was actually at both, had my MOTU 828 set at 44.1 and my ADAT machine hooked up thru lightpipe at 48. All the sound sounds slow - and it's out of tune almost 1.5 steps. When I convert the audio into 44.1 it keeps the audio 'slow' but now it's at 44.1 Not really fixed. Anyway to make it 'fast'/normal? ...

I'm sure this has an obvious answer, but here goes. I have a USB-5132 'scope, and using niScope Configure Horizontal Timing.vi I set, among other things, the min sample rate . In my case, I've chosen 20 MHz, which of course gives a sample period of 50 ns. I use niScope Read (poly).vi with the WDT variant to actually read the waveform data. I noticed something very odd -- ...

No, the way to get your data to appear quicker is to request fewer samples at a time. If you request the same number as the rate. you get an update every second. If you need 5 seconds worth of data, you repeat the code five times. I have no idea how you do this in signal express but I use a while loop or for loop. The relationship between the sample rate/number of samples and how often ...

chances are you wont wont notice any difference between the two 192khz is better but you would need an insane set of ears and good studio monitors to tell the difference. unless you plan to make music id go with the x-fi titanium

You can convert your audio files to the correct sample rate with this: http://www.voxengo.com/product/r8brain/ However, there are two big issues while doing this: 1- If you have chunks of audio clips on each track, it will be hard to place them at the right spot after conversion. In this case, bounce the tracks to clips so that they are ...

Make sure that the AIFFs that you export are set for 16 bit PCM. Also, assuming that you are using 44.1 kHZ sampling in your AIFFs, make sure that you are not trying to use 48 kHz in the AAC. Windows XP ...

Thanks! The information was important to me since I use a fixed sample rate on my soundcard! This post has been edited by Schattenreigen : Yesterday, 10:02
