The disagreement is thus: Two people said that buying a salvaged engine from a...

Would you guys buy a S4 with a salvaged title? What kind of effect will this have? The past owner says it had an accident where the fender, bumper and hood were all replaced with OEM parts and then the whole car has been upgraded/built with aftermarket parts. It's a GT build so EVERYTHING but the rear wheel bearings have been replaced or upgraded. Motor, transmition, suspension...

She says that bases don't hold up well in a crash? She also says some recent govt. car seat test showed that seat belt installs weren't as good as latch intalls??? She conects the one side of the latch, threads it ...

If anyone is interested, I have a 1998 Z28 Camaro NBM in color. Front end wrecked a few years ago with salvage title with about 58K miles on it has a damaged lower front right radiator support in which the impact beam bolted to, in which i left out to install a front mount intercooler. Front bumper was replaced along with a right front fender. After replacing parts I ran turbocharged for a few...

I have an .r3d file that I managed to import using L&T, but there is a major glitch part-way through the file that renders the take unusable. I have tried importing with RedCine, Red Rushes, and Red Alert, and it crashes each program every time. It seems to crash whenever it hits the frames that are jacked up. When I try to watch the proxies, the Quicktime window goes green when it reaches the...

Well, when I was 17 and helping the church tear down the service station purchased next door to expand the parking lot. I didn't ever figure I would get use of some of the materials salvaged out of the demo. There were 14, 2" x 12" x 23' ceiling joist that supported the roof stucture and 7 of them are now going to supply the structure to level the floors in my 1886 farm house. I will ...

I have a paper shredder, an elctric stapler, masonitepefboards, steel clamp rack, lots of melamine MSG or whatever, several drawer slides and, last week, a 4' x 10" rubber mat thing I use in front of my work / saw table. All of this (and more, actually) was salvaged from the dumpster behind a Staples store. And, while on the subject of salvage, do you know how to get free flowers for ...

Camel's nose under the tent of state insurance regulation. It was a Federal office that was supposed to be regulating the AIG non-insurance unit that blew up AIG. The state insurance regulators had the rest of AIG well-reserved, or the whole thing wouldn't have been salvaged, even by a bailout.

The 5 finalists are: Stanford?s Toby Gerhart, Florida?s Tim Tebow, Alabama?s Mark Ingram, Texas? Colt McCoy, Nebraska?s Ndamukong Suh. I think it was all decided last Saturday. Tebow lost, McCoy salvaged the game, but probably threw away his Heisman hopes in the final minute. I don't think Gerhart and Suh will be in the top 3 in votes, although I think Suh is the top player in the nation ...
