What is the situation with salt water intrusion in well water in St. Lucie county( if anybody should know)..I was wondering for those of you that may recently had their wells tested...Here in Cape May County, its bad and getting worse....We have one desalination plant, more may have to be built in the future....The sea is rising..

Anyone know if you can test these to see if the cell is still producing chlorine? During the winter the salt levels in the pool decreased to almost nothing, I added 3 bags of salt a month or so ago and super dosed the pool. This week the chlorine levels are really low again. Timer is set for 8 hours which is usual for this tme of year. Cheers LL

I followed the same routine as always... Using 29 Gal. RODI water in tank (used for holding RODI top off water unless mixing salt for water change) that has a Maxijet 1200 for circulation and an 18" air stone across the bottom. As David Berg mentioned, some people have found the float tanks helpful. Easier to find - what happens if you go to a swimming pool? Of course, it's not salt water, so might not be the same - but we don't really know if it was the salt, or the floating, or what...
