A dog's ear doesn't go straight to the eardrum like a human's. There is a right angle turn from the outside to the eardrum so a Q tip wouldn't get to the drum unless it could bend like that. However, they aren't usually big enough for a larger dog's ear. Peroxide, alcohol, vinegar/water, all work just fine. For those long ears that get into everything, they make "snoods". It is a hood ...

A saline solution contains 175.5 g of NaCl per liter of solution. Using a water density of 0.9982 g/cm^3, express the concentration of NaCl in term of molality. I know that molality = moles of solute/ # of kilograms of solvent. But how do I get the number of kilograms of solvent from this problem?

No idea. CASC confirms answer given in the book (see attachement) and gives slightly different density (1.1143) from the one you have calculated. But your approach seems correct to me. Could be that's just some unlucky accumulation of rounding errors, you are using rounded down values (pounds per gallon) in your calculations.

How many liters of the 10% solution are needed? Translate the problem into a pair of linear equations in two variables. Solve the equations using either elimination or substitution. State your answer for the specified variable. I have no idea how to do this. Please help me!!

You tip your head, pour it in one nostril, and it comes out the other. It literally rinses out your sinuses. My wife uses one. They are great for people with sinus problems, allergies, etc. You can either buy sterile saline solution, or make your own with water and salt.

I also feed my 2 dogs turkey minus the skin and fat( I have read that turkey fat is the worst fat--It is very dense) but I see there is another worry (not that I think Rachel Ray knows a he** of a lot about feeding dogs and prob. wasn't even referring to this---But I am finding that most of the turkeys have been injected with a saline solution (salt)---Hard to find some of the frozen chicken ...
