Hii.. My application is using weblogic.jdbc.sybase.SybaseDriver to connect to my Sybase Database. Through the application, if i try to insert some Polish characters in univarchar column, it is inserting "square box" at the backend. I am using Weblogic 10 and Sybase 15.0.2.. By the way: After your changes made, how did you distribute them to you user? Did you make just one runtime library and send that one or did you do the right thing: do a full rebuild, and redistribute the whole application with all pbd's / dll's (if involved)? ;) regards, Miguel L.

This might be a terrible practice, but I use Sybase far more than mssql... so I just renamed the mssql version as "mbcp.exe." Again, I could see how this could be problematic down the line (especially if you forgot you did it) - but the technique has served me well for several years now.
Even I have the same error coming from sybase 12.5.4. I am using java1.4 - jdbc2 to connect to sybase. The prepared stmts pass null as varchar whereas the stored proc receives in int. but for null, it shd work for any datatype. Any one has got any solution??
