Does either Phonics Road or Spell to Write and Read have more writing? Is one harder than the other? I'm wondering why SWR is fine for Kindergarten, but people say not to use PR until 1st. Anyone know why?

hello, I have an Alpine MRP-M500 Amp and an Alpine SWR-1242D 12" sub, the amp kit I have is 8 gauge and it has a 50A fuse, is this too small for the current flow? (Sub is rated 500W RMS, 1500W peak.) Thanks.

I have up for grabs an 80's SWR Studio 220 head. It works perfectly aside for the fact that some of the pots are a little scratch. There is some pretty bad rack rash on the top, and a lot of the lettering has come off the front pannel, but other than that, it's good to go. I'll try to get some pics up as soon as I can 100 bucks plus actual shipping. Might also consider trades ...

Considering parting with my SWR Super Redhead. I bought it from JFN (click here for details) several months ago and have only used it at home. I dig it, but I acquired an SWR Goliath Senior, also from JFN, which may suit my needs better. Plus, I'd like to find a more portable combo, such as a Carvin BRX212. For the Redhead alone, would ask $800. For the Redhead and the Son of Bertha, ...

Intercst, Why does the 5yr treasury fixed option reduce the SWR from the commercial paper option? It seems to work that way across all the scenarios I calculated. I would have thought it would increase the SWR. Thanks, JG

Hey All: I intend on posting pictures and getting the exact specs (which series Goliath, etc) sometime in the next couple days. BUT, I figured that it's worth posting about now considering it's condition. THE GOOD: The actual speaker cabinet is in good shape. Some scuffs and signs of wear here and there, but functionally it is strong and nothing appears out of sorts. The casters work fine, ...

I own an SWR 8004, I used to own the 4004 which was stolen a year ago, but I like the extra headroom of the 8004. It had a compressor knob that I loved to use as it lessened the harshness on the speakers and also smoothed out the sound. It was just a single knob with perfect easy use. Question is does anyone make a cheap pedal that can do the same with stupid simple control? Most compression ...

yet another "i cant decide on which amplifier" thread I'm in the market for a 100 watt amp. and im stuck between the Ampeg ba115 and an SWR LA15. conventional bass player thought would be to buy the ampeg but im a huge fan of alex webster from cannibal corpse and he uses SWR. both of these brands have very good reputations for their quality ...

2000 Ford Mustang (2) SWR-1242Ds Rockford 1000.1bd Output wise, what would the differences be? Could I have a box with enough airspace for a single 15? Would I notice more or less output? I'm assuming I would obviously get lower? I could always get a bigger amp for a beefier sub if need be to really notice the difference(s), if necessary.

Balance Quality Test We can test balance quality of a balun by moving a ground (common with signal source) to points A, B, and C and watching voltages or currents in the load. The best balun would have the least change in input SWR or current through R1 and R2 as the ground is moved. R1 and R2 should be selected to equal design load impedance. The same test above can be used, at ...
