Just intalled a little UNIDEN 510 CB and a FIRESTICK antenna on a tailight mount on the drivers side... MY SWR meter says she is REDLINED at 3++ all the way to far right in other words something ain't right... ANY SUGGESTIONS ??? What did I do wrong ?

Okay, so.. I've got 2 SWR-1242D's on 1000watts RMS. Gain wise are they getting max power? I do not think so. On my deck bass is at 0, so nothing is altered there. Anyways, when songs that beat hard play, I always get this smell...how to explain it I do not know.... but it's that electronic burning smell. My question is: Is this normal, or is this a sign I'm pushing them too hard...

So iv been reading. How kenwood subs are crap. Im thinking bout getting rid of my KFC-W3012 and goin with a apline SWR-1242D. I have a kenwood KAC-7204 amp. It either get rid of amp or the sub.

Well if you are geting deadening then you may as well buy a little bit extra to do the doors. I would say that using the stuff from the group buy that i have set up then you would need between about 3 and 5 sheets dependant on your budget. More if you have plenty of spare cashish. Its now £27 per sheet plus £5 postage per 3 sheets.
