Since I set up with multiple portal aliases and i only have one SSL certificate when the users will use the other domain without SSL certificate. Once they go to my checkout page it gives out an error since there is no certificate for that domain and the page is set to SSL. Is there a way to go about this issue? is there...

Good morning The SSL certificate on www.facebook.com - https://www.facebook.com/ is invalid. Just go to the URL and you will see: * Common name = a248.e.akamai.net Akamai is a company that does large scale cache, that I assume facebook is using. But the certificate common name must match the URL or the browser will make it invalid. So it seems they or facebook are using the wrong SSL for...

The certificate issuer gives you all the files, you or your host needs to put them in the right place on the server and configure apache to use them. Or spend a couple more bucks on a certificate from a better issuer and you won't have to deal with the chaining stuff.

Mark, there are different options using SSL with DNN web sites, depending on your needs. if you want all sites and pages using SSL, make sure to redirect calls from http to https and require ssl for all portals and pages. Additional child portals (e.g. www.mydomain.com/child) do not need special certificates, but multiple parent portals do require a proper SSL certificate: sudbomains like ...

You could go for a RapidSSL or if you get a domain with namecheap (renew, transfer, new registration) they give you a PositiveSSL for free which is pretty decent as well.

Or is it a problem in Australia due to the cache being used? Or is this a long term known problem? We have the same problem and I'd love to hear anyone's opinion about this. Faster way than using OpenSSL is going with procedure http://support.microsoft.com/kb/889651 . You must check serial number of new certificate and with certutil -repairstore my "serialnumber" you add private key created with old certificate request. After this you can go to Exchange Management Shell and enable-ExchangeCertificate for modified certificate.
