I have (3) sohc vtec heads, (4) intake manifolds. All have cam gears and cams. All have valve covers. Some have sensors and throttle bodies. not sure which ones though. The transmission in my Explorer started locking up and stalling the engine in all forward gears,reverse still works though. Wanting to sell or part out. I was doing a new filter and gasket on my 1998 Sport SOHC Explorer when I had a hard time getting the pan down without removing part of the exhaust, the pan kept hitting one of the cats no matter how I tried to get it down. So I started removing the y pipe and of course I borke a bolt but it gave me enough play to remove the pan however now I can not seem to get it back up there. Can anyone ...

Hola, I have an '00 EB 4.0 SOHC. I had the exhaust manifold gasket (passenger side) replaced a couple of years ago. It's tapping again and I'd like to do it myself this time. I've searched the forum but can't find a procedure. Can anyone point me in the right direction? TIA Peter

I'm curious to see how I'd be looking to pay if I go this route for these parts. Of course I'd want a new head gasket and bolts but I'd prefer a decent used 1g SOHC cylinder head (96-99>95) prefer one with under 100K miles but I'm sure price may dictate my decision as well. Shipping will be to 27217. let me know what you've got and how much! And remember, less is more!
