OK so Socom on the PS2 was a reason i bought one. The game was amazing, had good single player, excellent multiplayer and even though the PS3 version was rather... well for a lack of a better word sucked miserably. Playing MW2 third person view made me want a actually game like it. I have to ask where is Microsoft answer to socom? We have gears but i would love a military based tactical shooter ...

Hey I have heard alot about using .458 diameter bullets with harvester crush rib sabots in .50 cal muzzleloaders. Would the barnes .458 SOCOM Triple Shock X with a harvester crush rib sabot work in a 50 cal muzzle loader. I have a 1 in 24 in twist barrel and 28in long. I plan on using the new white hot powder at 100 grains (2 pellets) or 150 grain (3 pellets) my gun is brand new and the company ...

What game do you like better. I personally feel that Socom is superior in everyway. The cross hairs are more user friendly and you can use scopes. Plus I fell moving around in COD feels kind slow and sluggish. Your thoughts?

2004-production Springfield Armory Socom 16 with approximately 500 rounds fired. Absolutely no issues/marks/damage, etc. TRW USGI internals, Springfield bolt and barrel. 100% reliable with even cheap mags. I would much prefer to trade, and ONLY for an 18" Springfield Armory M1A - Either the Scout Squad or Bush model. $1450 cash sale face to face.

So, I've got a bit of cash put aside so thinking I might upgrade the old Socom.... Currently on an '07 with an '07 fox 40 and CCDB. Has anyone made the switch from a socom to a 951, or ridden both? I'm looking at my latest Pyramid Air catalog, they sell airguns, cheap airguns, expensive airguns, everything in between. One page touts Gamo airguns, called "SOCOM Tactical" in .177 and 22 caliber. You certainly know that "SOCOM" means Special Operations Command which is Seals, Army Rangers, Recon Marines and the like. Somehow I just don't see them toting a Gamo airgun, even a Gamo ...
