Well, this thread isn't much informative... Just found that here in St.-Petersburg someone had made such vinyl for his car: It looks funny especially with one head lamp broken. Why I don't know him yet ?! Interesting to see other shock-related works from 'real life'. 1 year ago I was trying to make a paperweight with three-dimensional trioptimum logo (metal cast). We (me ...

It has come to my attention that Michael Schaefer, known as Flying Crane received his shodan in kenpo roughly 18 years ago. He recently began training after a 17 year absence with Ted Sumner in San Jose, CA, driving 100 miles roundtrip 2-3 times each week to train. This past Saturday, by his own choice, he underwent a grueling 5-hour shodan test, and has now been awarded a shodan in Tracy's...

I just passed my Shodan exam in Aikido. I should have a copy of it on a DVD in a few days. Is there somewhere that will host it for free? It will be about 25 minutes total I think. So youtube and some of the others are out due to the length and size of the content. Also how do I go about posting it to the sites from DVD form? What say you forumites? "The world is a dangerous place, ...

Hi all, I was a lurker now I am a member! I am a shodan (1st degree black belt) in Bujinkan Budo Taijutsu. I could be higher if I had trained more over the years, but I sometimes feel I should be lower when I can't grasp new things as well as some of the green and red belts. Someone said your first year as a black belt is a bad year so maybe it's normal. I like all martial arts, but ...

Hi Just started Kendo at my junior high school (where I am ALT) and have been told by the sensei that I can go straight to first kyu early next year and go to shodan six months or so later! WTF? I'm a total beginner! He then told me that 6th kyu- 2nd kyu was for kids and selected dojos. ??? I`ve never heard anything like this before. In JKA karate in the UK it takes a minimum of 2 and a half...

Given the year that SS1 was released, the designers did a great job of using the music to set the mood. There are a few places in SS1 that I remember well. The elevators: much like the black boxes that survive airplane crashes, the campy music still plays endlessly in all the elevators throughout Citadel station. Perhaps the music itself was composed by Shodan as a torture device for any ...

At what age and at what rank do you allow your students to teach? I ask this because of a recent thread. I didn't start actually teaching by myself until I was a Sandan. I taught under the watchful eye of my Sensei after a year of achieving my Shodan. But he would not allow any of the black belts to teach on their own until Sandan. We also could not achieve Shodan until the age of 16. ...

In honor of this thread and the multitude of posts expressing the same sentiments... To help out Bricker , Shodan , Sarafeena and the multitude of other Republican posters who are upset that not enough posters on this board are fast enough to denounce anything bad someone who happens to be a liberal does, I thought it would be helpful to have a thread dedicated just for that ...

I am surprised there is no thread for this game yet Bayonetta is an upcoming video game for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 , developed by PlatinumGames in cooperation with Sega, who will publish the title [1] . Directed by Hideki Kamiya , creator of the Devil May Cry series, it will tell the story of the eponymous witch, Bayonetta, who has guns on her feet and hands, blowing...
