Treid to smoke cook a couple of large chickens and after feeding the SFB ~10 lbs of charcoal, I struggled to keep the temp at 200F. Air temperature was 45F. Move fire basket from SFB to main chamber, completing cooking using indirect method. Had no problem pushing temps to 350F. Note that I did not use a heat baffle of any kind because I've not had this problem before. Thanks!...

Buckeye Bob wrote: Interesting you had that much trouble with your heat. Out here in the snowy midwest, we routinely cook outside and never have that much trouble unless it is really cold. Don't forget that 45 deg in CA is like 0 deg here in Chicago.

Hi all, Doing MAN - SFB on 4th June 2009 with TCX. Any ideas of airplane used? I know it's 99% guaranteed to be a Airbus A332, but do they allocate specific airplanes at this time or is it just whatever has slotted in? Heard TCX upgraded their A332's with leather seats and increased pitch, anyone had experience of these said upgrades? Must beat the 2003 flight I took from Manchester ...
