scrape them on the sidewalk. take sandpaper and rub the bottoms. take a metal nail file and rub the bottoms. you scuff them up the same way you would any slippery soled shoe.

I am looking for a replacement for my scratched door scuff plate (no AMG!) on my SL 2007.... Actually, the door scuff plates from MB are too easy to scratch... Any recommendations or suppliers ? To remove this ad, register today or login if you already are registered!

Took the new Ultra Covert to the range today and ran about 50 rounds through it. It shot good, but boy did it scuff. My stainless UCII (traded) or my stainless SA doesn't do this. The matte black finish is new to me, so I don't know it the scuffing is normal or not. A few searches turns up others that have seen it, but no definitive answer if it works fine otherwise. What do the Kimber folks...

So, there's a tactical pistol course that I'm going to be going to, and my hopes are to get to the occasional competition here and there. I have a PM7, and want something that works well, has some adjustability, but doesn't break the bank. I don't mind holster scuff marks, so I don't need something lined with any special material. What should I be looking at? My friend has a ...

Don't ask me why I have it. Don't ask me if I have a matching rear bumper, either. I used to but I have NO idea what happened to it since that was like 8 years ago or something. There's a scuff on the lens, kinda hard to see. Hopefully the pix will show OK so there's nothing to hide. What you see is what you get, no additional wiring, nuts/bolts/pieces/brackets or anything. Make it happen...
