I took 3 SAT subject tests: Spanish, French, and Literature. I did very well on French and decently well on Literature, but I did fairly poorly on Spanish. One of the schools I'm looking at (one that uses the Common App) requires 3 subject test scores, so I have to send the poor score in, but I was hoping to not show this score to the Common App schools that only require 2 subject tests. Do I ...

I have taken the US History, World History and Math II SAT 2's. Someone told me UVa recommends the Literature SAT 2 specifically. 1. Is this true? 2. Should I take the test in January or am I fine? 3. How important are SAT II scores in admission? (Or in other words, how much can good SAT II scores impact decision)

Exactly as the title states. I'm wondering if I report my AP Psych grade (5) and my APUSH grade, would that suffice? My friend told me that handing in the SAT + 2 SAT II's is more preferred and that the new admission requirements are BS; but then why give the option of SAT + 2 AP's you know? I'm planning on taking the SAT II U.S History just in case, god forbid, that I don't get into the school.

Hi everyone, I was wondering if not taking physics and chemistry sat 2 would hurt my application. I am applying to all my schools (penn, cornell, brown, harvard, northwestern, hopkins, etc.) as an intended biomedical engineering major. My question is, will not having chemistry or physics sat 2 hurt my chances at these schools? I took the biology subject test, and scored a 750.

No are no subject preferences at all. You do not have to have "contrasting" subjects. Just send your scores. I think many of you over think these things. The SAT IIs are one hour each. Take them, send the scores, and move on.

SAT I without a doubt. You have the 800 in math to overcome the 620 in chem but not so much with SAT I, reading and writing needs more work. Chance me please!
