X-mas was good w/ a 2010 Rubi! Love everything but it seems the Mygig's audio is less than impressive, Infinity subwoofer and soundbar barely seem to push. I have adjusted in audio settings with little to no improvement. Had an 08 Sahara w/o Mygig, and did not have this issue. Anyone have suggestions or same issues (if its an issue). Thanks....

I have an opportunity to buy a new, nicely equipped '10 2-dr 6spd hardtop Rubi, or throw a bunch of money at my '08 2-dr 6spd softtop X (gears, lift, etc.). So, Rubi owners, are you happy with yours? What changes did you make or would you make? Anything you hate about it? It seems like they are pretty well set up for serious off-roading from the git-go, and have some features that would be ...

Looking at possibly buying a used 2009 Unlimited Rubi. Its Detanator Yellow, 6-speed, 23R package, dual top, 15600 miles, and has a MiGig. It is a Certified Used Jeep. Dealer is asking 31,667....what do you guys think is fare? Toss-up between this and a New 2010 Unlimited Sport 23s Hard top. Thoughts?

I am building my 85 CJ 7 with Rubi D44s. I've got it to a rolling chasis so far and I'm now rebuilding the 258 and plan to get it all back together this spring/summer. I am building this for my wife and family so it is pretty mild. So far it has Rubi 44s with 2" skyjacker leaves SOA, 35" boggers. I'm flipping the D300 and still unsure about the tranny. I need to try and keep the D44s together ...

All, Due to personal circumstances changing (moving, getting married, more kids), the Rubi will simply not have enough seats/room to accomodate the family, therefore I need to sell it or trade it in for another vehicle. I'm in a bit of a tricky situation however, due to the ridiculous depreciation of the JK, and what's owing on the finance - leaving me with annoying negative equity ...

Just curious because I am going to be buying a RE 5.5LA Tri-Link for my rubi and was wondering if any websites offer like a discount on shocks or something. I know for my old jeep cherokee I bought a RE4.5 Superflex and a certain website threw in Monotubes for free. Just forgot the site and was curious if anyone else knew.

First of all, you guys were right. The Rubi lift is awesome. Jeep rides better than it ever has. 26 year old shocks and spring ride like crap. Anyhow after installing the lift these last 2 days I have a problem with the driver side front shackle. It is not perpendicular to the ground, slant outboard. I made sure all parts were loose until weighted but could I have left the shackles too loose?

Its a stock width Dana 44 basically the same exact setup as a Rubicon D44, but high pinion instead of Low pinion like the Rubi. I am so excited about getting it. All I gotta do is round up some axle shafts now, and bolt it in.

I found an NP 241 DLD (?) out of a 95 dodge 4x4 cumins. Does anyone know if it will work in a Jeep? Is it 4:1 like the rubi t case? Are the bolt patterns the same on all the 241s or did they make them different depending on the application? Any help is welcome?
