to make it cost $8.99 a quart. I know its synthetic but thats all I can figure out. Maybe I am just cheap Castrol GTX dino oil is expesive enough to me at $12.50 for a 5 quart jug

Well people keep asking me this, so I asked them just to be sure...cause I sure bought a bottle...at 45 Euro over here... Answer from them... NO!!! From what I understand, most people that use Royal Purple oil and oil filters can get more mileage per oil change, so you end up saving a bit of money.

It's a high grade synthetic, but no better than Mobil 1, Amsoil, or many of the other quality synthetics. All synthetic oils provide superior protection compared to conventional. To say one is superior to the other is splitting hairs and is all hype. Vince
