The radiator on my 800 has started leaking very badly and needs replaced.I have spent a couple of hours trawling the web looking for a replacement. I filled in a couple of these "find a part" sites,and so far the best price delivered to Ayrshire is 120 odd quid. My question is. Does this seem reasonable,my lack of Rover knowledge means I do not know if it is or not. All advice welcome Cheers...

Koni Shocks for Rover 800 (Rear) on ebay. CHEAP £40 a pair! Anyone with a Mk1 Rover 800 (86>91) wanting some Rear Koni Shocks, would be daft to miss out on this item. Unfortunately the seller has no front shockers remaining. Although they do have more Mk1 Rears. They will also fit the Mk2 800's (92>99) and I was gonna snap a couple of pairs up, but funds now needed elsewhere!...

....Windscreen. That's right folks I won £101 on the lottery the other week then another £10 since on the same (£1 a week) multiweek ticket. ( Thought - My Lucks coming in!) I was once told that your not a true rover owner till you have owned a 800 so I plan to buy one in the new year as my next car. I'm looking at a Vitesse 2.0 Turbo. My one worry is practicality as the car is about 5 meters long whats it like to own on a daily basis and around town? Cheers Strobe

Hi, Since I purchased the car a few months back the passenger side window has never worked. When you press either the button on the driver or passenger side it just beeps but the window doesnt move. Any advice on where to start troubleshooting? Thanks, COlin.

Hi Guys, thought this might be the best place to ask... I caught an old episode of "I'm Alan Partridge" the other day, and was wondering if anyone knows what became of his beloved Rover 800? Apart from the paint dawbings it picked up in the series, it looked like a very tidy car!

Rover 800 airbox mod Well, spent ages moding my bargain bought 800 airbox to do the enclosed k&n mod but have encountered a problem. Unlike the one that was on rob bells site i believe, my airbox doesnt have the hole in the top of the lid and the bottom is slightly different but still able to fit the k&n inside. So im not able ...

I was nearly home and my Rover vitesse cut out like it had run out of petrol. I managed to get it towed the rest of the way but will not fire at all. I know the plugs are fine because i have only just serviced the car. Could it be a fuel problem or an electrical one?

I just went on Rimmer Brothers website to see if they had any scuttle panels left! For those of you that like to see Rovers (and in this case an 800) on the TV, they tonight you might be in for a treat! Tonight and other days this week you might see a V Reg Rover 800 in a drama program called collision on at 9pm on ITV. ....................although as the title suggests this could well be a write off!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yo he conocido de cerca un 5p y un coupe LTI,ese coche va de puta madre,sigue teniendo un bonito diseño,y el precio es mas que razonable,lo recomienzo al 100%,el motor no es de origen Rover de la serie k asi que tranquilos. Respecto al tema de los repsuestos,no hay ningun problemas,para los excepticos.
