I have a problem on my hands. I was dead set on building my own AR-15 with a DPMS 24" heavy upper with 1 in 8 twist. I went to the gun store to purchase a stripped lower and the the guy asked me what i would be doing with it... I told him about my UPPER choice and he said that DPMS was crap... I'm on a tight budget and could of built the Dpms for around 1050$. He pointed me towards a ...

> I was reading another post on the AR type guns and several people reccomended the Rock River Arms. Could someone please explain what the RR national match 2-stage trigger is and how it is different from the regular trigger that most guns come with. I'm thinking about one of these guns and I'm just trying to gain some knowledge. Also I've looked at the ...

Brand new this week, rather than wait and see how I liked it, I gave it my standard krylon paint scheme right away (easy to remove with oops or graffiti remover). Shoots very nice groups, they guarantee 3/4moa (and stand by it), I got under moa groups with any factory ammo I ran through it (off the back of the rhino w/bipod). Out of the more than a dozen factory ar's I've had, this one is the ...

So, I have one fresh from the factory, but with no literature. Went to install it by first removing the set screw...and the two sides still seem firmly connected. Am I missing something (there does seem to be some potential that I need to insert something to release a latch or something like that) or do I just need to apply more force. Thanks!

I think i solved my own problem. The RRA Predator pursuit rifle has a heavy barrel chrome and 1:8 twist. its also cheaper . The dealer could get it to me for about 1,060$ before tax which is about the same as your online stores it looks like. i think i prefer the 20" barrel over the 24" barrel. ...I think i forgot to mention that the RRA was for a full gun... not just the upper. and to make ...

The story I'm getting when asking about RRA's is: good luck. Nobody I've contacted has them and they don't sound like they're even trying anymore due to the backorder times. To order one would be 6-8 months for delivery. Yes, months.

> I got my RRA from Paul Clack's Gunworks in Canton. He's a good guy to talk with, and doesn't try to rip you off, he even let my dry fire one with a 2 stage and one with a regular trigger to see which one best suits my preference. I like the 2 stage better but my bro in-law doesn't like it, just a personal preference. That's just the first of many decisions you'll ...
