Eighties Roadstar II on the chopping block. I bought it used from a forumite here who can attest to this bass' awesomeness. It's got some dings and surface scratches for sure (including some pick marks under the pups from a previous owner), but nothing serious and certainly nothing that affects the playability or sound. It's a great bass, and honestly the only reason I'm cutting it loose ...

Last week I got in a Ibanez Roadstar II Pro 540 Power model in white in near mint condition. It has only a few dings on the backside. I think it is pretty rare for its shape. It has the Ibanez Backstop with the Backstop sticker on the Edge Bridge. It has IbzUSA pups. I bought this cause I just like the looks of it. It sounds great and plays very well. I just connected a roadstar cd/mp3 player in one of my old cars and it worked out fine about 1 week then on morning when i pushed Power all the led. ligts round buttons and display blinking blue and i cant do anything, time for the trashcan or is it easy to fix, The cd is about 2-3 years old, can get the model and more info in in the morning.

I have an old Roadstar 2 series Ibanez...I got it in 90-91. there is a sticker on the back of the headstock that says RS44o, so i'm assuming thats a certain model of roadstar... my question is with the serial number....the things on the web say two differant things......the serial number is "f840907".......now one website says this its japanese made, and made in 84....if thats the case then how ...

This is the first mod so far on my Ibanez Roadstar II 1985 that I got for free a half year ago. I posted about that in a different thread so I'm not gonna write the whole story here. I have ordered cream white pickguard material and black pickup covers without holes. I like the EMG look but hate emg's :P Gonna rewire it completly but I'm not changing any parts. It has an amazing sound ...
