My 1996 Roadmaster won't start because it is not getting any fuel. Either the fuel pump is burnt out or there is something preventing the fuel pump from getting power. This is the 4th time we have had this problem. The frst two times it was repaired by a shop where they said the fuel pump needed replacing. The third time I removed the pump myself, applied 12 volt power to it and it ran ...

I am a victim of the down turn in the economy and looking at starting a new career and need some input from others. I understand many of the negative aspects of trucking such as on the road for days at a time if trucking OTR. But money is money and I have some limited experience driving trucks in the military many years ago. I live in Kansas City, Mo and am looking at attending a driver training...
Has anyone had experience with Roadmaster's All Terrain tow bar? I'm sure it probably releases its auto lock easily under all conditions, but does it prevent the binding of the disconnect pins when not straight and level? I have one of their regular tow bars and even after getting the auto lock released, the pins are sometimes impossible to remove by hand. Does the all terrain solve ...

Hi, first of all I love the site. You have accumulated a great wealth of information and tech advice here. To start I am a complete newb to the hobby. I have recently purchased a 1954 Buick Roadmaster 2dr hardtop. It was my father?s first car and I grew up always wanting one. This one is in great original shape with everything there and no screwed up attempts at any prior restorations. Rust is...

I went to test drive a 92' Roadmaster today in hopes to become the next Armada Master. Wanted to pick it up for a winter beater. It had a 5.7 TBI in it. Took it for a drive and I gotta say, what a turd. That thing barely moves and floats all over the road like Titanic compared to a Panther. My box body felt faster and more solid than that thing. Also, what's the deal with a pencil thick steering...

I'm in SATX. I start CDL training on Monday morning with RoadMaster TDS. What non-training companies would you EXPERIENCED drivers suggest I research? I have class B experience on motorcoaches (250,000 mi, 8 yrs), but the pay is not increasing with the years. There hasn't been a pay increase at this company in over TEN years! Last year I made just over $32,000, and that was because of the...

I start truck driving school on Monday Nov 9. I've been driving motorcoach for eight years now (class B). My wife found this site while researching England's trainging and lease program. We decided that was not the best route. I'm paying to train with RoadMaster in SATX. While I'm training, I will be researching potential employers. What can I expect in the way to leasing trucks? Is ...
