I've been doing tris for five years riding exclusively on a tri bike (Cervelo P3), mostly middle and long distance races. After as many years of suffering saddle sores and other issues of the nether-regions, which I ascribe to long hours in aero position, I've decided to try a road bike for the majority of my training. I've tried several saddle changes on my tri set-up and am starting to ...

I have a couple 24" Sears Spider 500 frames and an old Sears road bike frame. Open to any reasonable offer, as long as it is worth the time to box them. Here is a photo of them before my son removed the kickstand and a head set from the Spider and I'm not sure if he took anything else so I am offering up the frame and forks only and what ever parts he didn't remove will...

Post up some pics & details of your bikes!! I picked up my CB400 this week - great bike, particularly good for learners (ME!) as its nice and stable, semi-upright position and great technology (ABS, liquid cooled, fuel injected etc). The only downside is the price - @ $13000rrp for a learner bike it is priced outside what most people are willing to spend on their first bike. It has a bit ...

Check with your local or regional police department to see if they are going to have an auction or sale of their bikes that they have found or seized etc. A search of google using the words police bike auction gives you lots of leads and some related searches as well - looks like there are a lot of them all over....

Hey Everyone - So for about 2 1/2 years or so I had been riding a Specialized hybrid bike, a gift that my husband had gotten me, something simple to see if I would like cycling. Then, I was planning on getting a great road bike in the spring, after I saved up money for it. Well, last night this cycling shop by me was having a 25% off everything sale and let's just say... I couldn't hold back!...

Agreed on bike community being awesome. I have a 200 too and hence see the improt scene and eveyrone trying to be better than each other, death stares when you check out another car and so on. Bikes, love the nods when riding . Scooter riders can sometimes be annoying pricks though. Best was when I lowsided my 125 on a roundabout after hitting a patch of oil, I went sliding, picked up ...
