Is it possible to set Hardware monitoring option from RivaTuner to turn it on (automatic) on startup (Win XP)? There is no such option in program itself or I don't see good?
I have a sidebar gadget for Windows 7 to monitor my GPU since this computer tends to run pretty hot. It links up with Rivatuner using the hardware monitoring module. However, it only recognizes that the hardware monitoring module is linked with it when I open up Rivatuner and open the hardware monitoring module. I have never used Rivatuner before. HI, i'm using Rivatuner on xp sp3, the toruble is it doesn't remembers settings for fan after restart, i mean on next boot. The option to "Restore fan settings after suspended mode" is checked but it doesn't works. Any blind guess what could be the problem? Thanks in advance.

I've managed to get rivatuner working without the annoying UAC prompts at startup, however when i start adding options to the built in rivatuner scheduler (such as set fan speed at 40% on starting riva tuner, increasing it at certain temps etc) the UAC prompts return. is this due to the driver level hardware monitoring and is it possible to have these enabled without the stupid UAC showing each ...

Ive installed rivatuner and i thought the only problem was the icon on the desktop doesnt show correctly but when ive overclocked the 260gtx its making no difference to the 3DMark score. Everything else looks right. Any ideas

Hi guys, What im trying to do is add RivaTuner to the 'Windows Services', so i can make RivaTuner start up even before i log in. I am running Vista 64-bit, and have a password enabled, so RivaTuner waits till i log in to make the video card fan kick in, which is a pain because i might not log in for an hour or too, by which my video card is cooking away....

Alright so for some reason NVSTRAP will not work in Vista. It only will work in XP. Does anybody know of a workaround to get NVSTRAP to work with Riva Tuner in Vista? I can't find anything through google. I need to use NVSTRAP to unlock the remaining 16 pixel pipelines on my GTX 260m to effectively turn it into a GTX 280m. I was just wondering if there was a way to tweak the AA settings with ATI cards to use 2x2 or 4x4 AA. There's an option for these AA settings with Rivatuner on a Nvidia based GPU, but it's non-existant with ATI cards.
