I have a 16GB Ridata class 6 card in mine and it works just fine. Ebay has been a breeding ground for fake flash memory so it could be you got a relabeled card. Try testing the transfer speeds to your pc. It should be in the 4.5-7mb a second range.

found several class 6 16 gb models for around 50 to 60 bucks...including a ridata one on Newegg for 50 that I am thinking of. Any brands to avoid, or is a class 6 a class 6?
