It means a bend, listen to the song, whatever it may be, and you'll prolly hear the bend at the end of that verse. So whats being played is a chord that is being bent then sweeping the neck, like a slide, which is a technique to help with restarting the riff over again. I'm doing an arranging project for my graduate jazz combo arranging class and I need to be able to move between Slash, Rhythmic, and Standard notation within a single staff. In particular, I need to do this within the Drumset and Piano parts. I've tried using multiple layers, but I can't make that work...I'm out of ideas. Thanks for the help! After some more messing about , I discovered that if I high-lighted a particular section with a staff I could option click and change its staff style for only that amount of time. Awesome! Thanks for the help! SFW

This exam included ear training exercises (melodic and rhythmic dictation, intervals, chord qualities, etc.), Notation, Harmony (Harmonic analysis, classical figured bass exercises, etc.), Arranging (instrument ranges, writing of 3-5 part solis for horns, classical counterpoint, etc.) and other various odds and ends. ...
