i've been seeing a lot of posts about cracked AP1 retainers. so i decided to replace the retainers in my engine with AP2. looking at the retainers side by side, it seems that the AP2 might be heaver than the AP1 retainers but i'll have to get a digital scale to confirm the weight difference. what's the chance to getting valve float using AP2 retainers in AP1 engine that revs to 9k rpm? anyone ...

will you guys have supertech steel retainers on clubrsx store soon? i want to purchase some along with the valve springs and seats combo for my ips k2 cams. they dont have them in their catalog on their site but i heard its coming out soon, just dont know when. i wish to keep support clubrsx and buy from yall thats why i ask.

Hello everyone I'm installing a covans instrument cluster with autometer gauges. Along the top of the cluster there are 4 mounting screw holes. In the frame of the dash where they screw in there are 4 plastic inserts that the screws go into. Does anyone know where to get these inserts ? The previous owners have totally lost 2 of them and the other 2 are all walored out.

I've done a search but found nothing on this topic, I'm sure it's been discussed. My battered thumbs are asking if there's a clever tool or trick for installing the .063 wire circlips in pistons for pin retention?? I'm picturing a tapered tube and some kind of magic pusher ala the piston ring tool. Surely this job is miserable enough that some sharpie has sorted it out?...

I have a set of World Product Windsor Sr Lites(aluminum) that have been ported by Greg over at XSR cylinder heads. hey i was looking into skunk 2 cams stage 1. i know u have to buy the retainers as well as valve springs. but what else would i have to change? will i need to change fuel pressure regulator? wut abt the injectors? and if i do that will i need to change the intake and exhaust valves? or can i leave it all stock. I dont plan on a turbo setup or racing i just wanted a boost in performance.
