my eyes have been excessively dry. I did get plugs, but how do you tell if they are still there? I started restasis Restasis but it burned my eyes so terribly. I put in two drops two times a day and that probably was too much. I had such a terrible reaction Allergic reactions Allergic reactions to medication Dermatitis, reaction to tinea Drug allergies Febrile/...

Ok so I lose track of time but I have been wondering about Restasis for a while. I had lasik several years ago and since then, my dry eyes have gotten persistently worse in spite of my using Systane post lasik several times per day, before bed and 1st thing in the morning. In the last probably 6 mos. I started having eye pain (soreness), a feeling of sand or grit in there, burning, bloodshot...

I have Rheumatoid Arthritis and have been taking Enbrel for six years and it has been a very successful treatment for me. I have been having problems with Dry Eye, and my opthamalogist suggested that I try Restasis. However, I am concerned about taking another medication that is an immunosuppresant (Since Enbrel is already an immunosuppresant). Does anyone have experience with taking both of ...

How long after the expiration date is the product no longer good? My mom gave me a bunch and they range from expiration date of Aug 2008 to May 2009. I had been using the 2008 ones, but my eyes have seemed to be getting drier and didn't know if that was the reason or not. thanks so much. (BTW, all the cartons are still factory sealed with covers on top)

My husband has severe dry eyes and the eye doctor put plugs in his tear ducts. You might check into this. It is supposed to keep the tears in your eyes instead of draining into the tear ducts. He still has alot of trouble. He can't read very much anymore because he says it feels like there is soap in his eyes. He tried Restasis and it didn't work for him.

I have been using Systane for several years, since I had my Lasik. I have had extremely dry eyes since my surgery and since I started perimenopause. My dry eyes recently got so bad, I went to the doctor and he took one look at my eyes and told me that I needed Restasis. I have been on Restasis for a while now and I am here to tell you, it was a miracle for me. I no longer have the painful ...

Does it ever end? I was to see a new MD next week after a two-month wait. They call me this AM to tell me they have to reschedule me for Dec!!! I was not happy. I saw an eye doctor today for my horrific dry and irritated eyes. He said I needed to get my metabolism in order and it would probably resolve. He did prescribe Restasis and one other drop. I can't believe I got put off for another month.

In order for AzaSite to have revenues in the $200mm range, it has to be used significantly in the following areas: 1. Posterior and anterior lid margin disease (blepharitis) 2. Pre-operatively for a sub-population of Lasik patients 3. Evaporative dry eye with meibomian gland dysfunction As a reminder, Allergan's Restasis is a $500mm drug for dry eyes. IF Prolacria ever receives approval,...

Thank you for saying that about Restasis, missypie. The other day my dr. told me to go to an opthalmologist and said he will probably prescribe Restasis, but I'm leery of it (one component is a chemotherapy drug). I am a heavy eye-drops user, I use ... whatever I have a coupon for. I'm going to try the Soothe XP and the cleansing pads, thanks for that tip. I tend to be a cyberchondriac,...
