So the new liteon drives require a bit of extra work to flash that involves using a switch and a 22 Ohm resistor , well im after buying a 50 pack of resistors from ebay so Im going to be left with a couple spares Anybody who previous to this post has an add in the console modding sticky or forum regulars can have a couple for free, either collection or by sending me a stamped addressed ...

I want to make an accurate copy of a vintage audio amp, and I want it to look the part, so I plan to use vintage resistors (padded out under the tag strip, where necessary, to get back to the correct values). The design calls for 0.25W and 0.5W resistors (I'll try to use white Eries for these) and 1W, 2W and 3W ones. The few contemporary pictures that I've seen show body-tip-spot types used for ...

I would have preferred to leave it in there, but the PO deleted the carbon canister and I have to deal with the yellow light staring me in the face. I read a while ago that there were some resistors or something to get it to go out but I can't for the life of me find that info again. Anyone got a link to that thread? Thanks!

Remove all Advertisements I did some research and found out that you need 10ohm-20watt resistors to get the stock flash rate back after installing LED blinkers. I did this and the flash rate stayed the same. The only raeson I am concerned about this is I installed an integrated tail light. That's all fine, but the taillight has sequential blinkers. ...

I need som ehelp in how to physically connect 2 resistors in parallel. I need a 1.3 ohm resistor replacement. Mills does not make a 1.3 ohm, so Jeff at Sonic Craft suggested I parallel a 2.5 ohm and a 2.7 ohm. I understand the math fine how that equals 1.3 ohms. 1/R=1/R1 + 1/R2. So, 1/R= 1/2.5 + 1/2.7 You take the inverse of each value which gives: .4000 + .3704= .7704 Then you take the ...

Anyone done it? It's a PITA this weather, with em freezin up all the time. Attaching some wire-wound resistors to the back of the glass with epoxy and connecting them to a fused battery feed, via a relay trigged by the heated rear window, seems fairly straightforward. The thing that's puzzling me is how to run the wiring out there! Any bright ideas?...

So I got these resistors and they didn't really come with instructions, and I'm getting conflicting advice as to what wires they should go to, plus they have 2 wires on each side which I take it is for hooking up 2 LED's to them. I opened a case which was wired to go from 1/8" to an XLR end, and noticed several resistors along with what looks like a small transformer on the circuit board. The resistors I can figure out using the color bars, but how do I determine what transformer is used. Any circuits out here to show me how to build this?

Still gathering up parts to upgrade the 245t to LH2.2. I definitely don't want to run resistors. This car is an automatic. It's been beefed up, but I don't expect it to handle any huge amounts of power and the car will never see more than 12lbs. I've got a set of yellow tops out of our 850's old engine. Are they too small? I have a TBer offering me a set of orange tops, but aren't they 35 ...

Using the Standard Preferred Ranges of resistors (i.e. E12, E24, etc) it is possible, within limits, to make up almost any specific value of resistor by connecting two preferred value resistors in either parallel or series. However, I find it a very tedious job calculating which combination of the resistors that I actually have will provide the required value when connected together. Faced with ...
