I am wondering if, as the title says, I am missing repos or something. When I installed 2010, the versions of several programs was newer than what my 2009.1 repos have. 2 examples would be aMSN and Firefox. 2010 has Firefox 3.5, but with 2009.1 I only have 3.0.14 available. This little program from the repo's is very mysterious to me. I use it on fresh installs of a 'buntu, and it pulls down my Google Contacts, all 730 of them, and expertly formats them and brings them up in Evolution. Can someone explain why other distros, PCLinuxOS is a good example, keep users busy with almost daily updates from the repos? Mandriva is nowhere near as active.
