Unfortunately, the metal part of the hot shoe mount got ripped off of my D40 - is this repairable?! I downloaded a copy of the D40 repair manual; and it looks like a bajillion steps to even get to the top housing, so I'm apprehensive about what it might cost... It happened in a gruesome stroller folding incident with the flash attached! PS>cross-posting to other D40 ...

Chap backed into me last week. A very light bump. Easily repairable according to the shop. Being as fussy as I am though (and because I get parts at trade) I've purchased a new fender from Honda. If anyone is interested in purchasing the damaged fender please feel free to contact me. You'd have to arrange pick-up. It's rust-proofed BTW. This post has been ...

Is this rear bumper repairable? :( Ran into some bad luck today Bought a Mtech2 rear bumper from another seller on the forum, received it today. When I saw the package I was worried - 3 boxes tapped together to make a large box. Opened it up, and there the bumper was - no padding, no foam, nothing. Anyways, to make a long ...

I recently inherited an HP laptop that got abused by a drunk-ass friend of a friend. The left 1/3 of the screen is working ok, but the section to the right of it is flooded with white pixels. What's the best route to replace this - toss the whole thing or replace the screen? Please advise.

I'll spare you the details from the rest of my shitty day and get to the part where I rear end a Toyota Tundra. Coming down the off ramp to make a right hand turn onto another road. Approach a yield sign behind a pickup truck. I slow down and check traffic to my left and it is clear. Pickup truck is still rolling. I glance left one more time before turning right (still clear of traffic) ...

Hi, I need some advice. I've come across a VZ commodore wagon for a really good price with low km's (70K). It's cheap. The dealer advised me it has been in an accident. Was a 'repairable write off'. He tells me it was the front side and door. Is fixed and drives beautiful....better than another vz they have which hasn't been in an accident. The car is in the western suburbs caryard. My partner ...

Have got 4 alloys - 17" RS 7 Spokes - diamond cut - almost brand new and fitted with Toyo Proxes (also hardly used). One alloy has some damage on the rim but have been advised that it's repairable. Spent a fortune on them (well over £800) but have sold my RS and decided to sell the wheels separately. Offers around £400. Have got some photos if anyone's interested. Cheers. PICT1733.JPG...

The first suggestion is about using Repair Shards. Right now in boat fights or sieges or anything repairable you can just hide in the lower deck and repair the ship... how about if you had to go and repair the part that was hit? I mean right now if your ... let's say Manowar gets hit on the mast.. you can go repair the lower deck. Now I am not saying that if enemies hit the top mast you ...
