Does anyone know of a way of renaming the pictures stored on my HTC Droid Eris without going to the trouble of connecting to the USB and doing through my computer. It seems that the Droid doesn't really give you access to the SD card. This just seems weird. So many of the things that seemed effortless with other phones seem extremely difficult with the Droid Eris.

Hi. It seems that the OnQueryRenameDirectories method is not called when renaming a folder in the solution explorer. The folder is within a C# project and is created using the Add->Folder context menu (e.g. perfectly normal folder). However, when I rename it (press F2, write another name and press Enter) the method called is not OnQueryRenameDirectories, but OnQueryRenameFiles. I expected ...

Hi, I'm wondering if anyone can assit me with a renaming script. I need it to rename an existing file i.e 'test31122009.txt' to 'ABCDE.X31'. In this case x represents the month of november. So the charachter generated will be driven by the MM (in this case '11') part of the file name. I'm guessing some kind of lookup table will be required and the reuters months tables are as follows; ...

Hi all, I'm the proud owner of an early 2009 24" iMac with OSX 10.5.8. Since some time I've had this annoying problem when renaming files from the Finder. While entering a new file name, the Finder just randomly drops back to it's "regular state". This leaves the file partially renamed, which is very confusing at best. How do I figure out what is causing this? I don't have a clue ...

Hi, We have a customer with MM 4.0 for Exchange. They are going to be renaming their Active Directory Domain. This means the NetBios and FQDN domain names are changing. The Peer Directory server and the Peer Exchange server names will not be changing. This is the first time I've encountered something like this. What is the impact to MM, what needs to be changed if anything? Thanks, ...

We have a user using MS Office 2003 SP3 (Windows XP), with the File Format Convertor installed for Office 2007 files. When he opens an Excel 2007 .xlsx file, Excel 2003 launchs, the File Convertor does it's work and opens the file, but the file name changes completely, the filename will follow the format Xl0000001, the next 2007 file ...

Hello All, I just wanted some opinions here and any help to point us down the proper path. We have set up a way to import Loren Cook fans to Revit from a Cookware schedule. It should be a big time saver for those that spec Cook. Now we are adding an option for the customer to rename the parameters to what ever they want, such as CFM could be renamed Airflow. Could anyone that has had ...

Hi - We have been using a samba configuration file similar to that listed below for some years without issue. However when carrying it over to a new server running Samba 3.4.0 (-3ubuntu5.1), we started experiencing problems deleting files via Windows Explorer; attempts to do so are resulting in 'Access is denied'. Similarly, attempting to change the name of a file or directory is...

Hi, I noticed recently that the guide in VMC now allows me to rename the station's call letters. For example, I can now rename KUSA to NBC. Does anyone know if that will affect the guide's ability to have correct listing information? I vaguely recall reading somewhere that in order for the guide to have correct listings, the station's call letters must match Zap2It's web site....

Hi All, I'm not too familiar with image resizing, but have found a function to resize an image. Now what I want to do is: - upload an image to my site - resize that image - rename that image to a time() - save that image to a folder Here's my code for doing so. I'm sure there is nothing wrong with the actual function, but just applying that functionality to the image ...

Over the years I accumulated new accounts with strange names like All_Users.Windows and Owner.Owner-codenumber. After suitably transferring their contents, I have been able to delete the ORIGINAL accounts, but these two resist deletion and renaming because they are 'System Folders'. I expect there to be ONE that resists renaming, but TWO seems excessive. These two are in addition to Administrator...

I've just been doing a folder tidy up at work, renaming files and deleting old ones. Except I just deleted one I shouldn't. I can't see it in my local recyle bin and can't see a recycle bin for the server? Any idea where to look. I've got admin rights and access to the server if that helps.

Hey so recently, I decided to hide wow on my laptop so people going on it wouldn't find it, by moving wow to some random place in the program files and renaming it to something random, making the file hidden and changing settings so hidden files aren't viewed. However, now when I try to run wow.exe I get this message: This application has encountered a critical error: ERROR 121 (0x85100079...
