Rena leaking-Help!! Folks, I just did a filter clean up and upon the filter filling with water I see drops of water leaking out where the power cord exits the Rena 3 filter head. Suggestions? Also--Where can i purchase "o"ring seal that seals power head to media compartments? Thanks

I have a 300w Rena heater using as an intake tube to my XP3, on a 90g with additional sump filtration. I'm not sure where it came from but saw some signs of Ick in the tank, and decided to treat it by slowly increasing the temp to 86, and adding Salt. So for 3 days now I've been increasing the temp, heater is currently set to 84 but temp still reads 76.5. Is the "smart" part ...

As the title states I'm selling a brand new still in box with whatever original wrapping it comes with Rena Xp3. Asking $175 As a safety net I'll allow the buyer to check out the item, if anything is wrong with the item the transaction will be canceled.

I'm going to try and run through the game with just these two characters in my party. Does anybody have some good tips/strategies/etc for me? My main point in this is getting a Rena+Dias ending (since I can't seem to get them to have an ending together any other way.)

While it's not a uber expensive fish tank or anything, I still feel proud of it and think it looks good, I just used one of my old 55 gallon tanks to set this one up, using a 100 gallon Fluval 405 filter on it, and a Rena 200w heater, power glo bulb, lots of tetras, a few mollys, and of course the cool "Glo-fish" that is now available in select pet stores, they are the very bright pink and lime ...

I have a all male malawi 120 gallon tank. 20 fish that are 1-3 inches. I have a penguin 330 biowheel filter, an aquaclear 500, and a rena filstar xp2 canister filter. Just wondering if all these filters are over doing it. If so, which one should I get rid of? In the 330 there are some ceramic rings in the baskets along with crushed coral, carbon filters and wheels, in the aquaclear...

55 Gallon. I'm a noobie to Cichlids, do these numbers seem ok? I'd like my tank to be stocked below the maximum so that the occupants have ample room. Will the herbivore Acei be ok with omnivore food avaibable in the aquarium? Filteration; Penguin Bio-wheel 350, Rena Filstar XP3 3 Pseudotropheus sp. Acei 3 Labidochromis Caeruleus 8 Cynotilapia Afra Cobue (small, 3.5" in ...

PLEASE VOTE FOR THE PLAYER WHICH IS MOST LIKELY TO DO IT, NOT FOR YOUR FAVE!!! There are seven GS champions still on tour(except Rena) who have the chance to complete a Career Slam which seems to be quite prestigious ( mastering all the surfaces). However, who has the potential to do it? * Justine Henin (Henin fulfuiling her dream of holding all 4 GS trophies!? ) Missing trophy: ...

Which is better in your mind. I hear that the aqua clear is better, but same say bio wheels are better. I have a 55g tank with a Rena xp2 already on it, but I want to add on a HOB to make things better. I most likely don't need it, but I want it. So I want a low cost ( pads etc ), but the best one. Please speak you mind on what item is better in your mind.

Toby_H wrote: Yes, to clean a canister you have to disconnect it, carry it to the sink/driveway, dismantle it, wash each part, reassemble it, put it back in place, prime it, then power it up... For the Aqua Clear HOBs,,, I turn off the power strip, pull out a sponge, rinse it in the sink, put it back in, turn on the powerstrip... Because it's so easy to clean the ...
