Hi there, I went for a follow up after my lap in July, as it was in remission again. None was seen. Fair enough, but I still get a lot of pain. I think it is still endometriosis shrunk down, or microscopic. I have the coil in, and I told him that I get these shooting pains at least once a week. Though I have been achy on and off(never told him this). Basically I was told nothing was on lap so ...

Hi all, I recently started Remicade and heard a lot of positive things about it inducing Remission. I wanted to know how I know if I am remission? What can I look forward too? I've had 2 IV's so far and have seen a reduction in the "pooing" from 6-10 times a day to 3-4 times a day, but will this get even better? Thanks for the info!

Thanks again to everyone for your support as Tigger fights his lymphoma. The great news from his oncologist today is that he is back in 100% remission! The new chemo treatment is doing the trick, and he has had little to no side effects. On the negative side, the new chemo is doing so well that it is wiping out his white blood cells to an almost dangerous level, so he is on antibiotics ...

I was wondering if anyone out there has had a remission from endo for a couple of years and now unfortunately it is back. I did not seem to develop severe endo until after a miscarriage, had much trouble getting pregnant, but finally conceived and now have 2 beautiful children but it seems that the endo seems to be making a slow come back.

Has anyone ever gone into remission from Remicade? What exactly does remission entail anyway? Is it relief of symptoms or is it when you no longer need treatment? DH started Remicade 2 weeks ago. Within 3 days he was normal! I mean NORMAL. He goes to the bathroom less than I do normal! He has been able to fart-without worry stuff would come out. He hasn't been able to do that in at least a...

( The Fraud of Remission by Djehuty Ma'at-Ra Tell a Friend The term "remission" is undoubtedly a Western medicine or allopathic term and thus does not have application or usage in the field of naturopathy or natural healing. The term "remission" is defined as: "The partial or complete disappearance of the clinical and subjective characteristics of a chronic or ...

Hello, Other than the occasional pain which I had posted earlier, I've been feeling pretty good for over a month now. I have been off of prednisone for a couple of weeks too so I'm wondering if this could be considered Remission? When I get up in the morning I usually have a large bowel movement...lol. It's solid though with no blood but it is definitely an unusual amount. My ...

So I've had UC for almost a year and a half now. I've been on tons of meds. and nothing seemed to work and was hospitalized once. Over the summer, as a last resort from doctor, was put on 6-MP and prednisone. Helped most out of all other meds but I still had flares and was going 3-4 times daily still with blood and pain. So I got sick of it and slowly got off of prednisone, when I did and ...

For those that have been following and sending such nice thoughts and comments, after being in remission since July, Tigger's lymphoma is back. He has an enlarged lymph node in his back leg, but just one leg, so it was caught early. This means his cancer has become resistant to the protocol he is on. The doctor switched him to a new chemo on Weds as well as put him back on the prednisone...

I have suffered from IC for 4 plus years, and was in remission for a couple years. Now it is back with a vengeance. I feel like I am the only one suffering from this. I cannot take the medication because I become nausea. I just need a little support.

Some of you will remember me telling you about and keeping you up-to-date on my friends little boy, Little David, who was born with Down's Syndrome and had Leukemia. He had been in remission for the past two years until 3 weeks ago when he started having pain in his legs. They received news from the doctor on Thursday that he had 3 tumors on his spine and it was in-operable and that he wouldn't...

Well it happened a miracle that is. My scan came back negative with no viable neoplasm which means no evidence of desiese (ned). It is truely a miracle that I am in that 2 percent of complete remission. Due to me being a stage 4 I will be on a maitence avastin which will be given to me introveinsly every three weeks for as long as needed to keep me in remission. Thanks for all of your prayres and...
