How do we know what’s wrong? There are cultures out there that still believe in human or animal sacrifice, and the only thing stopping them is laws. When does it become wrong, evil, etc? Who makes up what is "good religion" versus "bad religion?" What is your idea of a "Bad Religion" or a "Good Religion?" Is there such a thing?

I'm so freaking tired of these self-righteous freaks from backassed countries that think nothing of unilaterally slaughtering millions in power grabbing moves.....but become outraged by the kid who dares challenge their strict religious beliefs by wearing a knee-length skirt . http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/34170961/ns/world_news -afri...

I know it's polite and PC to be respectful, but if you're an atheist and you say "I respect your religious beliefs", what are you really saying? "I respect your psychological inability to face the harsh reality of life and the finality of death. I respect that you are so weak minded and primitive that you resorted to mass delusion in order to be able to function in life? I respect your utter ...

There is douchebaggery and hypocrisy going on with both sides of the argument, lets be fair. I've never had a religious conversation that accomplished anything or persuaded anyone, so i will just leave it at that... I don't know how many years on this Earth I got left. I'm going to get really weird with it.

Edited on Wed Nov-25-09 10:22 AM by The Night Owl "There's nothing to suggest that Palin's religious beliefs are anything but utterly mainstream." - Keith Olbermann Is KO kidding? For crying out loud, Palin's most formative church practices speaking in tongues and spiritual warfare, associates with pastors who describe themselves as witch fighters, and promotes the idea that End Times...

I agree is not or should not be our agenda to push our religion or religious beliefs on anyone else. Because as an individual we could never adhere to such a strict set of rules that we as a religion ad. Religion is what is ruining us. It is only for grace of God and the love of Jesus that we can be saved. And that is what i am saying. When is the last time you told some one about that love. An ...

Hmm, I'm a religious believer, however none of my religious beliefs has anything to do with AGW. I have no religious beliefs in other words that would say we couldn't screw up the worlds climate .... we've polluted the air and water in various places and times before in our history and theoretically we could do that on a larger scale re. the worlds climate. When I first heard of the AGW ...
