I am trying to figure out how the proposed health system reform may impact Medicare reimbursement of OMT. It is my understanding that OMT has diagnostic and treatment codes. The payment provided is based mainly on the number of body areas treated. It seems that many of these treatments are done withing minutes and then billed for $50-100.00. The efficacy of some of these treatments has not ...

I left AG Edards/ Wells Fargo after 2 years in as a new advisor for a competitor. They are asking for the training reimbursement. I guess I might have to go to arbitration. My argument is since they greatly reduced the commissions under 10k in productions that they made it where I couldn't reasonably fulfill the 5 year obligation and if they would have kept the ...

Ok guys, I'm looking for suggestions of companies that offer tuition reimbursement, particularly ones that offer significant amounts (100%/50%/ $15k+) since MBA's tend to be pretty expensive. Not really that interested in places that only offer $2000-$5000 or whatever. I'll likely be relocating to the Chicago area soon, and would love to find a way to not rack up 100k in loans. I...

When I send in the doctors bills to the insurance company, how much will the carrier pay, if any, for mileage to and from the doctor? Answer Hi Kathy, The carrier is not going to just pay an amount for mileage. You have to demand that they pay you for mileage. It is usually at a rate of .55 cents per mile and you will need a mileage log to prove the mileage. I hope this helps Richard...

QUESTION: Previously our company paid an auto allowance and this was taxed as income for all federal taxes. It was a non-accountable plan. Our company has recently gone through an exercise of obtaining the estimated number of miles driven in a year and is reducing the amount that will be given to the employees. The CFO is stating that since this new amount is less than the actual mileage ...

This is a chiro office with one provider. He is currently par with Medicare (WPS Medicare in IL if that makes a difference). I just checked the 2010 fee schedule and it looks like Medicare is significantly reducing the reimbursement rates for chiro next year. If we were to become non-par with Medicare, I'm confused as to what is the difference in fees for non-par versus the limiting charge?

Only thing they'll do is replace all 4 I have now and update system. Next, I really need some help with this one. I need to two pieces for my a/c unit. They are at the ends of the lines right where it plugs into the ...
