Just curious what the rego rules are in NSW if you don't make the rego expiry date? For various reasons im not sure it will make the due date so just wondering how long can you drive it for after it expires without going through a totally new registration? Only to a place of repair I gather. Cheers

Hi all, I heard that you can put rego on hold for up to 5 years, is this right? After this time I take it you have to pay registration fees, but how long for and when can you put the rego on hold again? Also, do you need to wof the vehicle in order to get rego?
