Does anyone know how to convert a dvd region 4 into region 1 (or region free)? A family member came to visit from abroad and he wanted for us to see a movie he brought, unfortunately since it's region 4 dvd, we can't view it in my dvd player or on my 360. So does anyone know how to resolve this issue? I'm guessing that I'm going to need some software to rip them burn, I just have no clue which. ...

So I live in Australia so obviously I'll be buying a region-free copy off ebay. Firstly, I'm quite sure that the region-free copy would be unedited. Am I right?? Secondly and more importantly, if I download DLC and patches on my AU xbox will they work with a region-free copy?? Thanks to anybody who could answer this..

I own the Asian version and want to buy all the maps. I figured I could save way more money buying all the maps in the all-in-one Map Bundle on the US PSN, since such a bundle does not exist on the Asian PSN. So then, are the Map Packs region free? Thanks

We bought a SR200P DVD Player from Walmart yesterday. We have a region free DVD (edited by a friend, based on the videos he took with his hanicam when he was in Asia), but the DVD Player refuses to show it saying that it can't find "area info" (I guess it needs a region code, but it can't find it). I'd like to know if there's a way for me to make it show my region-free home-made DVD....
