Placebos as part of a treatment regimen? Will these types of trials proliferate or be made mandatory if the health care legislation is enacted? Note that this trial was NIH-funded. [i]Study Redefines Placebo Effect as Part of Effective Treatment It’s Not Drug or Placebo; It’s Drug and Placebo December 22, 2009 Researchers used the placebo effect to successfully treat psoriasis patients ...

I just got dans cleanser and moisterizer and started them this morning, and i just used them tonight along with neutrogenas on the spot. My face has been getting a little better, but still nothing that anyone can tell. But tonight i used just a little above 1 full finger ...

Ok, so, been on the regimen for five weeks. However, I still get a pimple or two. Do you think its okay or beneficial to apply bp to the spot throughout the day (not your entire face) as a spot treatment to prevent it from surfacing? Or do you guys think its better to stick with the strict two times a day all over thing?

I'm taking my girlfriend out tonight and was wondering whether it was worth it to do the Regimen before the date and risk my face becoming red/flaky. I'm about to do it now around 9 AM, so technically I should do it around 9 at night. I'm just not sure though, I may not even want to apply the BP tonight. I might just cleanse and moisturize. What do you all think? Has anyone had the same...

I'm almost acne free, and I was really getting sick of tired of my scars and was looking into acne peels to remove scars. I was wondering, since these peels have their own little "regimen" would it be okay to keep using the regimen, or would I have to stop the regimen to do this peel treatment. And if so for how long? Thanks.

I will be going on vacation to Valparaiso, Chile in January, and I was wondering how to incorporate a sunscreen into my regimen. I'm currently on Dan's regimen, also, what are some good sunscreens for acne prone skin. I've heard of Neutrogena UltraSheer Dry-Touch Sunblock, but i'm not really sure, are their better ones? I don't want to break out, that's really important. also, when do I ...

Iv been doin a lot of research and this regimen looks like it may work really well, and not be harsh at all. Have u guys had any experience with it? Or in general do u think it would be effective. I would really appreciate any feedback. Morning: Wash face with plain cleanser (like Dan's) apply AHA sunscreen Night: Wash face with plain cleanser...

I think the progress is really good. I used to break out all over, and I had really severe cystic acne. The doctor said ACCUTANE was my only hope. Prior to the regimen I was using a bit of BP 10% for 2 years. It really did the trick, but it didn't get me 100% clear. I'd always have a cyst or a few zits lingering around. There were no moments of clear skin, and when I did have moments ...

So the regimen that I have been using for the past few months has not been too beneficial. Essentially I wash my face in the morning with a Tea Tree Cleanser and I moisturize with Jojoba Oil. At night I cleanse with the Tea Tree Cleanser and I use the Tea Tree Toner. I was using 10% benzyl peroxide but it made my skin very itchy. Even the 5% irritated my skin a little. I try to ...

Well I'm pretty much clear thanks to the regimen, now I just need to get rid of the red marks. So is using the regimen in the morning and retin-a at night a good idea? Or should I do something else? Thanks for the input

Hi everyone. I started the regimen on November 15th. It really happened by chance, i didn't research this in any way. I have been suffering with moderate acne since middle school, and i'm now 23. I've tried countless products, OTC and prescription. I spent years on proactiv and the BP cleanser was the only thing that seemed to keep my skin from getting horrendous, but in reality i was ...

Specifically targeting people who use tea tree oil. Hoping you'll tell me good things. I've been on the regimen for about four weeks now and my skin has gotten progressively worse. I am going on vacation with people who all have clear skin and I am horrified. I need to fix this problem in two weeks. Natural treatments have worked in the past, and I can remember tea tree oil working alright...

Guys, I really need your help. I am on the Acne.org regimen and I also wear makeup. Please don't say that It would be better for me to stop wearing makeup... I've been using makeup for about 3 years now..and I am only 17...I wouldn't wear it if I didn't have acne. Believe me-i HATE makeup, but also, I just can't live without it. But i hate it more. I hate foundations especially. Waaa.....

So i've been on the regimen for several months, basically totally clear, really just letting my past acne scars heal up now so that i have a clear complexion, however the other thing really hindering keeping my skin from being red are BLACKHEADS! They cover my nose and most of my cheek. I dont want to you salycilic acid because it can be dangerious with BP... but i dunno what else to do! ...

Well as my title says I've been doing the regimen for 3 months, exactly as stated on the site, and I am still not clear. My acne has improved quite a bit but I still have about 5 or 6 actives on my face at all times, and I've just got my first cystic ever. Very, very painful. All of my acne is located on my chin, cheeks and jawline. I just ordered the AHA+ to see if this would help. Is ...

so at the mo i'm just cleansing my face with my olive oil castile soap bar, doing a tea tree oil spot treatment then moisturising with sesame oil. It's working great and i'm about 70% clear but i'm wondering if i should switch sesame oil for olive oil. I've heard it works great as a moisturiser. Any help please, my skin is still inflamed with blackheads and 1 or 2 active spots?...
