Hello, Is it ok to cloak referrer at Maxbounty? I'm running a quite profitable so far campaign via PPC and Im doing direct link, does Maxbounty allow cloaked referrer? Will they suspect anything? PS: All traffics Im sending are clean PPC traffic.

Why would you want to blank the referrer and what is it good for? Well, if you do a lot of affiliate marketing and have tapped a high converting traffic source that someone else can replicate for example Craigslist, MySpace etc you want to keep it secret. If not, you as the affiliate may get scrubbed out of the equation and the product owner can go direct to the traffic source and start ...

I have a few pages that set cookie with page ID. I need to be able to load appropriate page for users that have this page cookie. I only want to do it for users that arrive to my site from elsewhere, i.e. referrer is not some page under my domain. What's the best way to do this? I have some JS code that launches a popup (which is a PHP enabled page). It's the standard window.open setup. On that popup, I need to detect the referrer. In PHP, $_SERVER['HTTP_REFERRER'] is not set, so I get nothing. As well, document.referrer is empty. So how to detect the referrer?
