I have had notice of redundancy at the end of March 2010. As I've been in local government since 1994 and my employer seems to have a good policy I get a five figure redundancy payment. I need to know what impact this will have on my ability to sign on in April and what I am required to tell the Benefits Agency. If I can get some benefits there is a possibility of being able to survive ...

A little 'positive' redundancy around here is fine with me, we get so much of the negative stuff that we could use the balance. Rudundant away, lol. Happy New Year fellas! B

hi, Zee in QFT in nut shell says "The most unsatisfying feature of field theory is the present formulation of gauge theories. Gauge symmetry does not relate 2 different physical states but the same physical state. We have this strange language with redundancy which we cannot live without" He also says "We even know how to avoid this redundancy from the start...

Hello, We are trying to increase our redundancy and would like to use SQL Server replication to do this. We have about 5 database servers that contain around 1000 databases. Some of these databases are used more often than others. We are a complete Windows shop. The idea is to create a new big server that can hold all of the databases and have these be slaves of the databases on the 5 ...

Can anyone offer any insight on handling redundancy payouts in excess of £30k..... I know that the first £30k is tax free... and the excess can be invested in a SIPP. How does this work... the employee gets paid net. Does the SIPP reclain the missing tax ? Are there any gotchas ? Also can you have a SIPP whilst also being in a Defined benefits scheme ? Thanks in anticipation ...

Hi I was made redundant on the 16th of december 2009 due to my company going into administration. They wont be providing any redundancy money and instead i will have to make a claim through the government. I was wondering if i start claiming for jobseekers allowance now, would i still be able to make a make for that redundancy payout? Thanks

Hi, I am setting up two DHCP servers on my network for failover redundancy. I want the Astaro DHCP to be the failover with my other being the primary, mainly due to it supporting SCOPE options. How do I set conflict detection on the Astaro DHCP so that it only hands out addresses if the primary is not available? Thanks, Mike

Cause you don't have to tell people, but it's nice. Like, all the deepest expressions in life all of them transcend words, like they don't need to be said, it's super apparent, it's abudnantly clear, through energy and action and whatever. So, words are often redundant. But not always. Like a life or relationship that never said I love you, I trust you or I encourage you, what kind of ...

Trying to copy over Thunderbird mail files to backup drive, I received an error transferring Inbox.sbd file. I've had to revert to manually transferring, since MozBackup wouldn't back up any files of the mail account. Anyway to sort this out? The mail folder was originally on Outlook Express 6 then moved over to TB. I'm using version 2.0.0.23.

Hi, I was hoping someone can point me in the right direction. My dad has been long term sick since 2000 (multiple sclerosis). In September a manager from his work came to the house to offer him a severance package. No notice was given over the nature of this meeting and no union rep was offered and neither my sister or I was present for this meeting. They offered him £8500. My dad asked how they...

I am now selling my Eddie Current EC/SS solid state - how's that for redundancy? - amp. It has been good to me and my Grado SR-225i's/HF-2's, but I have bills to pay. Just when I got my rig finalized, too. The amp is in perfect condition. I cannot detect a scratch or any other imperfection. It will be shipped with the standard wall-wart and I'd hope to keep this within Canada, but I can ...

i posted something about this problem yesterday I believe but I've made a lot more progress towards ruling out what the problem *isn't* since and I haven't been able to locate the old post to add to it so sorry for any redundancy. I have an issue with select Macintosh browsers displaying this page here like you see in the screenshot attached to this post. The page is validated in terms of...
