I have to post this. I've got to tell other Pug lovers that I had an achievement today. I finally got my rebuilt 505 STI engine to run this afternoon! It has been a long journey. I spent the last 10 months or so rebuilding it. I totally stripped and cleaned all bits and re-assembled with new bearings, rings, etc. etc. It is a great feeling to finally see and hear your hard labour pay off....

whats a average price to take the old engine out and drop a new rebuilt on in my 62 tbird. How many man hours our involved. If I start with the short block and take the remainder of the components out of the orginal engine how many man hours would that be and pricing also. Maybe the better alternative would take the old and refresh with a rebuilt one. Thanks Larry
