http://www.theonion.com/content/opinion/oh_no_its_ making_well_reasoned I…I think it's finally over. Our reactionary emotional response seems to have stopped it dead in its tracks. If I'm right, all we have to do now is smugly reiterate our half-formed thesis andoh, no! For the love of God, no! It's thoughtfully mulling things over! Run! Run! It's making reasonable, fact-based arguments!...

That's obviously a well-reasoned, well-written post. However -- doesn't it presuppose that the $4 million in net income that BLVT claimed for the first six months of 2009 was bogus? And doesn't the $41 million contract they received (which can be independently verified), and other government contracts supposedly in the hopper, suggest the likelihood of a better outcome than with Stanton's ...

We can't convince a pacifist to protect thier own family with violence if they had to and it seems the same here on the board. Obviously you should protect your family by any means nessecary but that ideology cannot be reasoned with and Liberals are the same way. If you don't pay for everything wrong with other people's lives then you should be made to pay for it. It is like ...

This is an article about counter terrorism and how to go about it. I found it well-reasoned and worth reading. http://www.nytimes.com/2009/12/13/opinion/13atran. html Karen

Once again, QualiaSoup posts a great video. This time, analysing the fundamental flaws of substance dualism. I really like watching his clearly reasoned and presented videos. Plus, he's got a great narrative voice.

We've bought Museum Passes when we've visited Paris before, and we'll do it again in a few days, I'm sure. But I've seen references to reduced price tickets for seniors at some locations. And now, as last minute planning makes reasoned, sensible web searches more difficult , I can't find any references to them. Are there many places with reduced prices for seniors? (Are they to ...

This documentary, produced by British television, came out a couple of years ago and was nearly impossible to find for a while. I suspect that a concerted effort was being made to quash it. I watched it right after its release and found it to be very well-reasoned. It asks a good many questions that need to be addressed, and debunks some other notions that have become gospel to so many. ...

Forty years as a surgeon in university and community hospitals gives some authenticity for the following reflections regarding the failings of our health care delivery. Partisan rhetoric has led to shouting matches rather than reasoned choices, while the most fundamental issue in health care reform has yet to be stated: should health care be continued as a profit-driven enterprise? ...

Article on how Honda made a marketing mistake when launching the Insight. They are taking a second shot, this time focusing on eco-features. The comments are surprisingly mature compared to the kids who are on Autoblog. Most of them are more interesting in expressing their reasoned disappointments with the car, rather than flaming meaninglessly.
