I am looking for advice about installing a new tail housing bushing/engine mount. I got the old one out today but it was a struggle. I had to burn out the rubber, cut the sleeve with a Dremel and drive it out with an air chisel. Even with the engine tilted back as far as it will go there is not a lot of room to push in the new mount. I have it in the freezer. I plan to heat the tail housing with ...

The tank bracket is not centered on this slotted hole, you can see about 1/4" of the slotted hole sticking out behind the tank bracket. If the slotted hole in the frame was about 1" foward, it would probably be ...

Thanks everyone for the input. This is a rolling project and so the frame has not really been built past the beginning of the "engine bay". We are looking to get hold of the engine before going any further. Will the weight really be that much different? I mean a large bike engine.... maybe 100 kg? car 160 ish? Cheers Nathan

Good news I was able to lose the oil filler neck the cap does just screw right into the valve cover so that worked out great. I also was able to put a metal band type of thing over top my throttlebody bonnet so that it won't keep popping off so I now I can hold all of my boost. However I had my friend (02_Vortech) help me with dialing in the fuel again for the higher boost around 8.7psi we got ...
