For sale off 97 SE: Bose Headunit, double-DIN, $100 Bose 6.5" rear deck speakers / woofers, $30 for both. Will need an amp to power. I do not have the stock amps. OBO As of one year ago, all three were working, but have not tested since. I am located near Reading PA and will drive a little to a mall or something to drop off. They are heavy, so prefer not to ship...

This is a how to note on retrofitting a stock Audio 20 speaker system if you were not fortunate enought to get the logic 7 MM system. The stock head unit and amplifier are quite good, but as many have stated it is the speakers that are the weak link. This does take some time and effort but the resulting system I am very happy with. For less than $400 you can get a ...

I figured i would start up a new thread rather than digging the old one out. Here are two pictures of em. They are uncracked and in very nice shape. There is only one small mark on one of them that i tried to capture in the second picture. Im looking for 20 bucks.

Hi, My '71 currently has a stock AM/FM radio, 8 track player, front speaker in the dash & 1 rear shelf speaker, with a fader switch on the radio. The speakers are 8-10 ohms. While re-assembling the car I may put a second rear shelf speaker in, as was available in '72. Both rears in parallel & the front - this will work OK? I don't know how the internal wiring is set-up in the radio. ...

So my Harmon Kardon 6x9's *I have a 5/99 build date car* were toast... SO I send Halston a PM... He said he actually had some sitting at his house and said come on over... He even helped me install them in his drive way, it took a whole 5 min... The fitment is perfect. Also the build quality is very nice and the install kit included with speakers is top notch.....

I noticed the quality of my sound greatly diminished, so started moving the sound around. The sound from the two back door speakers is not nearly as loud or as clear as the front. Sound is there, but low. Same on both sides. I have to move the sound bar almost to the bottom(on the radio) to hear the back ones at all. Normally I have it a notch or two toward the rear. Would this...

Right, So my rear speakers nor the sub were working, its an 8l facelift A3 non Bose (as far as Im aware) and has a concert headunit. Finally got time to have a quick look today, pulled out the stereo and found this... Guessing someone has had an aftermarket stereo or amp in the car previously which needed the RCA, and I'm guessing that small blue wire should be going into the ...

i'm going to keep brands out of this as i've tried several with similar results. so here's what i've done: 1. removed OEM HU for aftermarket - no change in sound 2. added sub - obvious increase in bass 3. installed component speakers up front - obvious increase in clarity and highs with the tweeters 4. installed 2-way coax in rear - highs a little clearer, mids not so muddy ...

What size are the stock speakers? I have never seen the engineering mode option, is that for all c class w/out MM. should we messed with it with stock speakers, or are they best set from the factory with stock speakers. The
