Feel free to tell me when this question belongs. The REALTEK screen keeps opening up on me. I will also get a balloon msg telling me a line has been unplugged. This is happening every 15 seconds!

Why oh why does the Windows update of the Realtek network driver always screw things up? I moaned about this in another thread some time ago. The Windows Update driver killed my network letting me have a few bytes a second of bandwidth. This was on Vista. Windows 7 Networking I just installed Windows 7 x64 last night. It all went extremely smoothly, the only hardware it hasn't set ...

I've bought some logitech LS21 speakers which are 2.1 (i.e. left and right speakers with a subwoofer). I have an onboard realtek soundcard through my Asus barebones, which has a sound manager application which has the asus logo on. This has no option for 2.1, only for 2 channel or 5.1, 6.1 and 7.1. It has options to select which connection is for each socket (there are 6 or so ...

This issue is mainly related to streetdeck. BUT since it is being done in realtek, I posted it out here in this board. Right now it seems that every other time I hibernate (tinyXP) it comes back up and StreetDek has NO sound. Well, it still makes the clicking noise of the GUI for when you hit buttons, but no music. Going out of StreetDeck, I can load up Realtek, and hit the 3D audio demo,...

OK, I know this isn't a real PC group but generally the people here are more knowledgeable. ;-) I was given a PC with an abit IP35 Pro MB with Realtek Audio which works in every respect expect there isn't any sound from any output. I'm running XP with SP3 and, yes, all the volume controls are all the way up, nothing is muted, and the speakers work fine on the PC sitting right next to it....

Games don't even show eax options etc and I cant hear the clicking sound when opening windows etc. But it works fine anyway. What about realtek? Its really that crap? Hi. I installed 7 on release day, but when I installed the realtek HD drivers (aledgedly a windows 7 compatible driver) I only got audio from the lefthand channel. It's definatley not a hardware issue as both channels play fine on XP. Anybody know where I can find the correct driver?

Hello i have realtek HD audio software from an ASUS M3N78 Pro motherboard. i am running win7 64b and i have the latest drivers from realtek (r2.35) but can only play 2.1 on my 5.1 system. enabling the "speaker fill" option has little effect. The two rear speakers emit a low quality distorted version of what the front two speakers emit. the centre speaker also performs poorly, sounding as if ...

For some time now I have been trying to use the old "stereo mix" or "what u hear" I had on my old PC with XP. I built a new rig, got a new sound card and put Windows Seven on it but could not find Stereo Mix. So I started using an external audio cable to use "Line In" as my recording device and it works BUT when I'm recording and there is no audio there is a loud hissing sound and it makes it not...

I have seen others with this problem, but so far none of the solutions I have seen have worked for me. I have an HP G60 438NR. Running Windows Vista 32-bit. It is a new laptop with most of the factory settings still in place. The SD card reader isn't showing up at all. It doesn't appear when there is a card inserted, it doesn't appear in the device manager. Here are ...
