Installed the topspeed (gruppe M rep) and now i have new rattles. one coming from somewhere in the back from the soft top, and another coming from the back left of the soft top.... anyone els with a vert experience this??? im hoping if i change exhausts all the rattles will stop. its just reallllyyy annoying, thanks for any help

Hi, after owning my ctr for 2 months I have managed to locate and fix the following rattles 1 - Tail gate, fix a small amount of tape around the lock latch to take up excess play in the lock. Then turn the boot stops out one turn it is sometimes necessary to adjust these yearly depending on how often you use the boot, 2 - Rear seats, again fix tape around the locking latch ...

The title says it all. Love the car but hate the rattles and I it is not the windshield posts. Can the top of the dash be removes? The ford dealer/service responded, "all cars rattle a little", still trying to calm down from that remark.

Hi My steering column feels very loose (I can move the steering wheel up and down) so I dissasembled the whole stuff and replaced the bearings... It was a huge improvement, but it still rattles somewhere near the clutch pedal What should I look for? I dont know what else to replace, everything is tight and in its place

hi, if rattles drive you completly crazy, then you are at the good place . the temperature has dropped recently and today it was like -20 degree celcius. Let me tell you my car rattled from everywhere and i wanted to push it off of a cliff. I dont know why, but i have never seen a car act like that. I have a header which makes the car vibrate more but DAMN!!! I dont know what the previous owner ...

Does anyone have experience of curing rattles and other noises from the rear of the car? These occur when going over bumps, sound like loose parts in the spare wheel area [nothing is loose] and probably the tailgate, but the master technician at my local VW dealer says he cannot fix them.

I recently noticed my I4 EX-L is making a very loud rattle noise for about 2 second at cold start-up, I am wondering am I the only one that has noticed the problem? 2.5 m50 engine, needs oil pickup, sump & rocker covers re-fitting all parts there though! runs fine no smoke rattles etc. £100 located in norwich can arrange pallet delivery for around £50 if required.
