I've been working out with weights for almost a couple of decades now and I've always followed the standard advice of using strict form and full range of motion (except maybe cheating on the last rep or two on some sets) for getting the best results and of course for keeping injuries at bay. Is using full range of motion best? For example, with curls, would it be best to lower the weight ALL the way down or only so that your arms are parallel to the ground? I have a feelieng this is a stupid question...sorry!

Like Freebird said Partial ROM has it's place and does work however personally I prefer to use full ROM.

there is maybe between 5 and 8 inches of actual travel on a stock explorer depending on the shocks,, as for the amount on an SAS, it goes fron none, to as much as is built into the setup,,
