Hi everyone, I have been a long time lurker here, and learned a lot. I just thought I would pass this on to help us both out. I have a rain sensor installation kit for sale on ebay. The kit comes with enough supplies for two installs. I used one on my 96 Eldo a couple years ago, since then it's just been gathering dust. Starting bid $0.99 with nobody watching it yet. Here's the link: http...

Sorry if this sounds like a dumb question but her goes, I bought my ML used so I am unsure whether I actually have rain sensor wipers but I think I do. The thing is that sometimes they come on when it rains sometimes they don't, so I presume I have them and they aren't really working correctly. Has anyone else had this issue? Or, is there a setting on the wiper control that I need to set in ...

Our '08 ML 350 is fitted with the frameless / bracket-less wipers. Still original. They have been OK up to now - apart from dry running noise due to the intermittent wiper settings and the rain sensor always being too fast in light rain. I really wish it would be adjustable, so I could turn the travel frequency lower. One concern I had about these frameless flexible wipers is winter ...

Just wanted to let all know that the good poeple at EuroGlass were able to fix my rain sensor issue on my car which had an Pilkington winshield when I aquire the vehicle (2008 528i). After changing the windshield, the original shop only transfered the sensor (Round one, NOT rectangular) without purchasing a new applicator cap. The way this was mounted, it looked like the installation was ...

I had the windscreen replaced and now my rain sensor may as not be fitted it is useless and before it wipes I can't see a thing, even on the most sensitive setting. I had the car at the dealership and they said it works and there is no way to calibrate it as it either works or it doesn't Some on here have been able to reset/re-cal with a BT scanner (I don't have one) If this is the case, ...

Cracked BMW E46 Rain Sensor Windshield!? WTFTD? My gfriend was driving my car (i know don't ask), rock fell off a truck in front of my car, smashed into the center of the windshield and left a dollar bill sized "mark" according to her. But she says it looks like it is slowly branching out. I'm at work right now so I can't see it....
