There is no sound coming from the standard Radio/CD Player coming from my 2005 WRX STI Impreza. The unit and all its functions all are working, just no sound? Could this be a fuse or is it more likely a wiring problem? Where is the fuse located for the radio? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hi, I got the message of "Safe" on my radio/cd monsoon system. I looked in the manual and I got the code to unlock it and that worked. That was a week ago, I came this morning, started the car up and the message was back again. I'm guessing either something is programed that way to do that or there is a disconnect in the power somewhere that is causing the sound system to periodically ask for...

I'm very pleased with my 04 1.2 ELEGANZA ..................however, the radio/CD player sound quality is not good!!! Sounds slightly muffled, is the best way to describe the sound from the speakers.Not crisp, and I figure it should be much clearer. Anyone got any clues as to how I could improve this problem? I have a Bose Wave Radio/CD unit that will not play the CD. It begins like it should with the CD spinning but it doesn't play the CD, no matter how long I wait......! What does it need in the way of repair?

I very stupidly pushed a CD into the slot where the flap that covers the radio/cd player sits rather than in to the CD player slot. The CD has slipped down behind the radio/cd player now and I cannot retrieve it. Does anyone know if this could cause a problem for any of the wires etc behind the radio/cd player? I have a 2004 Saturn Vue with the premium sound. I have a strange problem-the radio lights up but is completely silent (AM or FM). If I switch to the CD Player or the XM, it works fine.
