Hi.... I just got a great deal on a 10" Craftsman radial arm saw. It came with a drum sander attachment, but it says that you can put a planer head on it. Has anybody used this setup for tapering limbs or making laminations? Does anybody know where to get this attachment??? Very hard to find since the saw is discontinued....

My question relates to how folks usually do this. For a saw like this, is it wisest to built the bench/fence so that it aligns with the stand-alone saw/stand, or do most attach the saw to the custom bench? I'd imagine the way to ...

It's been in my barn and once in a while I bring it in the shop, hose it down with WD-40 and lube it. It...

Thanks. It turned out pretty well, and I would keep it if I didn't already have an MBF I restored earlier. The MBC was kind of an impulse buy and I did it in Delta colors just to do something different. Since it was already missing the rip scales and all the logos I didn't think it would hurt, and it turned out pretty well. The early DeWalt MB saws are a great value and beat the daylights out...
