This article is all about answering one question: how well does the Radeon HD 5770 scale in CrossFireX performance tests. Benchmark Reviews has already investigated and published two reviews for video cards based on the HD5770 "Juniper" chip; an engineering sample from ATI and a production card from XFX. They both acquitted themselves quite well, and we included some CrossFireX test results in ...

So I'm going to be building this PC for a friend, and he offered to buy my 4890. With the money I would get from that+the money I would get from building the PC I would have almost enough to buy a 5870. Do you think I should sell my card to him and go for it? I mean it IS a better card, but the card I have now already runs everything I want it to. I would get DX11 support but in the past it...

Personally I feel that ATI / AMD have this certain level of respect for NVIDIA and what they're able to achieve. Until September there was no reason for us to think that the GT 300 series from NVIDIA wouldn't be here; the green team had come out many times saying that everything was moving to plan. In the mean time ATI was moving to plan with the HD 5000 series and it looked like both models ...

Dubbed the ATI Radeon HD 5800 series, this newest piece of silicon comes in two flavours: The high end is represented by the 5870, and the mid-range the 5850, which is what were looking at today. This latest chip is supposed to support the new DirectX 11 features that will hopefully be fully exploited in Windows 7. Direct Link: http://www.futurelooks.com/asus-eah5...o-...

AMD ATI Radeon HD 5970 Review automatically posted by our resident RSS robot It's big, fast, power hungry and hot like Scarlett Johansson in a sauna - what's not to like? The size? Yes, at nearly a foot long this dual-HD 5870 beast won't even fit in the front page image box! Read on to see how the new card performs (don't call it a HD ...

The same problem is when i alt-tab and go back to wow, the FPS also drops. 2. Second problem is that some objects are transparent when i lower the ...

via Gizmodo The ATI Radeon HD 5970 slaughters the competition in pretty much every benchmark thrown at it. It's outrageously fast. We're talking five teraflops here, people. Teraflops. MaximumPC put the 5970 to the test (check out their review here), and found that it lives up to its promise. The 2GB dual-GPU card is the first to support DirectX 11, and basically doubles ...

It's time to unleash the beast welcome to a nice feature length review on the latest dual-GPU offering from ATI. What ATI did with the Radeon HD 5970 is to place two RV870 chips onto one PCB. Bridge... More...

I'm wondering if this card runs in Crossfire mode once it's up and running or if it's considered "Single" even though there are two GPU's on it. I have an nForce motherboard and obviously I can' run crossfire, but would be interested in getting it if it's considered a single card once installed.
