I've had a Valentine 1 for quit some time and I've just been using the cigarette lighter socket to power it but it looks dumb having the wire in the center of the car. Has anyone hard wired one into their car? If so were did you put it and what wires did you tap into? Any pictures?

I notice that when I drive along interstates (and sometimes major highways) that my V1 will deliver strong K-band hits. They initially sound like instant-on, but after a couple of seconds, they quickly taper off in intensity and stop. Any idea what this is? I only notice it on interstates (and sometimes major highways)...it doesn't sound like a regular false.

For the first time after two years of rocking my belltronics STI I finally got a ticket for using it. Last night I went and got an adaptor to plug in the power outlet to have two outlets instead of one and now I get caught even the cop said "this belltronics aren't suppoused to be detectable but for some reason I got a signal back" I guess I won't be using this adapter :-/
